What We Believe
At Zane we believe that courageous, hopeful leaders are what change the world for the better. We started Zane because we saw too many of these leaders being overlooked by the capital markets, and we wanted to do something about it.
So we created Zane to:
Invest in these overlooked founders with bold ideas.
Educate early stage founders through a platform, giving them the tools they need to effectively raise and employ capital.
Provide founders access to a vast network of resources to help support their growth.
Since our founding in 2020, Zane's dual approach through our Access platform and Venture Fund has created approximately $180M in economic impact for the Atlanta/Southeast ecosystem. We've empowered more than 100 early stage founders who have raised a combined $58M in investment capital ($18M for Access founders and $40M in follow-on funding for portfolio companies), achieving average growth rates of 3X and creating dozens of new jobs in the region.
The momentum we've built through our first fund has emboldened us in Fund II to go after another complex problem in our community. We call it, “The Healthy Human Economy.”
