Investing in
the Future of Health
Fund II seeks to create economic strength through investments in human health

Our Country’s Greatest Risk and Biggest Economic Opportunity
“We the people” are sick and because of it, our economy and our freedom are being threatened. Chronic illness has swept our adult population and is devastating our children and young adults. The toll of adult chronic illness costs us $1.1T a year in lost productivity and $4.05T in healthcare spending. It’s also the primary driver of our 5-year life-expectancy deficit versus our peer nations, which costs us an estimated $5.8T/year in GDP.
If we don’t reverse this trend, we’ll have fewer and fewer people powering our economy, while simultaneously imposing a massive economic and human toll on our people.

Investing in the “Future of Health” to Strengthen our Economy
It’s understandable that people think that investing in “healthcare” is the same as investing in “health.” It’s not. The Healthcare system is really the “Sickcare” system because its business model is to profit from the treatment and management of sickness. Financially it doesn't make sense for it to prevent illness or intervene to create health.
That’s why we think it’s time to create a new “Future of Health.” One that invests in the areas we know are foundational to the creation and sustainment of health. We call these the “Addressable Drivers of Health” (ADH), and they have the ability to directly affect the prevalence of chronic disease that drives over $4T in healthcare cost, and is the primary cause of our shortened life span and diminished productivity.
